I was tired of the same gym routine and needed a new mental challenge. CrossFit is challenging in it’s technical movements but more mentally challenging than anything.
The Clean and Jerk and Push Jerk are two of my favorite movements, Pull ups and any squat are great too. Anytime we have a WOD with a barbell you know it’s going to be fun!
The Snatch is by far my toughest movement. High level of complexity and danger have me struggling to overcome both mental and physical blocks.
CrossFit has taught me more about myself than any traditional fitness regimen. It teaches you how to push yourself mentally and physically. It allows you to explore the boundaries of your mind and body, and ultimately to know yourself better.
